Please, No Flash Photography Allowed

    
     You ever go to a concert and see the asshole in front of you doing this?  How about multiple assholes with their cameras and camera phones being held up to record the show?  It's a bit distracting isn't it?  In this day and age with technology the way it is, the concert you just witnessed has the potential to be uploaded and online by the time you get home.  Bootleg footage of a concert you couldn't attend is no longer a rare commodity when venues allow phones and cameras into shows.  This is going to sound a bit communist and completely old-fashioned but I wish venues would act like movie theaters do and not allow for either to enter the doors. 
     If you're caught recording a concert you should get escorted out of the show and not allowed back in.  In case you can't tell, I value music, a lot.  I know I'm not the only one either based on the passion that heavy metal fans possess (maybe because we're possessed?) and display at shows.  When you take away from something so dear to me then we have problems.  Seriously, they're going to throw the guy out for stage diving or crowd surfing but not the guy who's being an inconsiderate prick?  Maybe the stage diver is blocking your view like camera phone guy but at least stage diver is feeling the show and energy so he's excused.  To me that adds to the overall atmosphere anyways.     
     A concert experience is just that, an experience.  Most of us have all recorded something with a video camera at some point in our lives.  When you're looking through that lens, are you really getting the full experience?  You're watching it on a small tv basically so you might as well go home and wasted your time there instead of wasting mine.  More importantly is you're pissing off the guy behind you (especially if it's me) because he cannot see the show.  Whatever happened to going to a show to watch it with your eyes?  Are those days gone?  Let's face it, we've all done it but what I'm specifically referring to is recording more than 10 seconds worth or taking photos throughout the entire show.  Fuck you man, if you want a picture of the band live then go do a Google image search.  You're not an Asian tourist and you don't need to use your camera at a concert.  Actually, do everyone a favor and just stay home.
